Mushy landing next to a beaver hut on the Camdre end. A decent shorter climb before a long decent down to Clearwater on an occasionally wet and conversely muddy & rocky path. For the time being, there are decent overlooks of each lake at high points along the way. Cumbersome landing on the Clearwater end although, the view it quite scenic.

Fire cut across this portage with vengeance. This provides a great view of both lakes at a certain point in the portage. Out of Clearwater it is tough up hill, we had a lot of mud in the first part and slick rocks.

This area was burned twice so there was little standing. Trail was very hard to follow. I had to look for the different color of the weed that were growing on the trail.
