The Forest Service just finished cutting a new portage, moving it up and out of the swampy areas - it was great - thanks!

I just wish the boardwalks were double-wide planks. I'm not a gymnast, so I find myself struggling to stay on top of the boards. Thankfully, the marshy grasses were pretty dry whenever I lost my balance and had to step down.

Lots of boardwalk time. The single board width sections can be tricky, but it's not too bad.

Flat but, likely wet and muddy. Extensive boardwalks have been constructed to aid in the traverse.
