This is a pretty chill portage, nothing to write home about on either landing or the trail.

The Stuart is pretty slow going. We eventually ran into our first group of the trip heading the other way across this portage and talked for a bit. This was the first portage after our stop on White Feather so the wild rice came raining down on whomever was carrying canoes.

Not a bad portage at all. Some mud, but that is typical of almost all portages along the Stewart River. 2/5
