I am not sure why this website has this listed as 271 m in length? The distance is as marked on the WCPP Chrismar map at 50m, but still on the east side of the creek. I cleared out the few downed trees. The green undergrowth from the last fire is coming back thick so the trail can be hard to see. Not many people paddle this route. The creek going downstream from here to Caroll Lake is very shallow and reedy in low water. There is no defined channel so it spreads out into a wide bog. It took some pulling and poling to get through. The WCPP Chrismar map should have this section marked as "seasonally shallow".
