Follow signs to the park entrance on Mid America Road. Park at the lot on the east side of the road. Walk west to the trailhead and follow the wide mowed path NNW to the dirt trail, and down to the river (about 1/8 mile). If you are getting off the river, a twin maple is marked with orange tape.
