There may be a few sites in this area. The campsite I stayed at was further east along the north shore of this peninsula (Lat: 48.547725 Lon: -91.986080). It is perhaps .5 mi from the portage and has a nice beach landing. It had a seating area facing the firepit with the beach as a backdrop. One tent pad just in the woods, but we strung four hammocks in the clearing. Five stars as a beachfront hammock campsite, would be lower if looking for tent pads. Although it faces the Beaverhouse-Quetico portage, I did not see much traffic in August.

One large site in the middle, one small one on the beach. Fish the ends of the bay. Good spot for your last night before heading out.

Just tucked into the woods off the beach. No real respite from the bugs, who destroyed us after the hail.

Used this because of a wind emergency. jackfish' earlier comments are accurate; however, I detest sandy camping so I am lowering the rating. Also, this is very exposed to north winds blowing across Quetico. Primitive beach firering.

This is a narrow finger of land with a beautiful sandy beach. It's used mostly as a "cut-through" portage on the way to West Bay. There is a spot to camp in the strip of trees, but the beach is available for a tent site as well. Probably sees very few campers because it's so close to the entry point.
