Little privacy due to being on channel from Moose L., and near motor shuttle drop-off. Can land on either side of point--channel side is shallow. Convenient storage for canoes. Clearing is large, mostly shady, and dominated by cedar trees, which make good hammock possibilities. However, there is a solitary red pine for hanging food. The fire grate is very close to the water, but is well fortified with rocks. There is only one log, but it is long and hand hewn to make a solid, flat table. There are multiple choices for tents in the flat clearing, including a grassy area. There is a path to a rock overlook for views down the lake and sunsets.

Decent camp site. Main area was rocky, but we are use to camping on river gravel bars, so it was doable. Several better tent sites away from the large open area. We had 4 tents set up. No good option for suspending food from trees. So, we put the food in the canoes and anchored them off shore.

Great open campsite. Had 8 guys. Two tents and 4 hammocks. Lots of room. Small but nice fire pit. Great morning sunrises.

Nice, open campsite. Cool fire pit area up on a hill with a nice view, and several good tent pads expanding down the hill. One of the spots was somewhat isolated, which can be nice for guides. The 2 campsites on the North side of this island are both nice, and there are no motorboats and few canoes passing by, making the site feel much more remote than it actually is. The bugs were fierce, but that was the only downside.

The site is tucked in the woods. Fairly level site that gets very little sunshine. Latrine is only a short walk. Landing is tight fro more than 1 or 2 canoes.
