Landing is along shallow sand/gravel beach. If wind is from north, you can nose in. Open and sunny clearing is on small side, and shows signs of overuse. The fire grate is turned behind rock ledge, but is not well fortified--leaving it exposed to some wind. There is 2 log seating and a flat rock to aid cook. There are many good tent pads, especially behind kitchen. Other sites are down latrine trail and close to the water away from the others. Tree species are primarily tall birchs that do not provide pack hanging options. Swimming from beach starts out weedy, but deeper water is soon available.

Not a bad site with a very nice sandy landing. I'm sure its very buggy during the warm months. Heavily used. So-so kitchen when I was there.

Large site. The landing is very nice. There are a lot of tent pad areas back along the latrine trail. Other grassy tent pads near the kitchen and the lake. Great site for a large group.

Excellent canoe landing. Camping on upper or lower level. No shade in the cooking area. Great view of the lake.
